I always believed that there was a book inside me. Some romantic idea that I could write things that others might enjoy reading. So I'm having a go.
But first I have to complete the task I set myself on January 1 - to write a poem every day for a year. Poetry, however, is different from writing a novel. Poetry allows complete freedom. Poetry can be totally random and unstructured, but can still be believable and, most importantly, entertaining.

July 2: ... okay, okay ...
I change my mind, have I had enough, is the daily grind just too damn tough
Is this the last, is this the
end, should I stop now then start again
This book that I told you all
about, it won't get done if I lay about
For your further comments I
am full of grate, so I'll continue on until an unknown date
